We are so fortunate to have some beautiful places in North East Lincolnshire, where you can sit back, relax, and watch the world go by. When the sun is shining, there is a slight breeze and you just want some peace and quiet, there is no place like Cleethorpes Country Park.

Cleethorpes Country Park is one of North East Lincolnshire’s four local nature reserves; it is a beautiful 160 acre park with paths and walkways around the central lake. It is located just a short walk from Meridian Showground and the nearby Boating Lake, and come rain or shine, you’ll always find people passing through. People sitting peacefully while they fish…

… and runners. Every Saturday morning, a timed 5k race, Clee Park Run, takes place from 9am – and it is absolutely free to join!

And you are bound to meet some fellow dog walkers.

The Country Park has its own dedicated swimming area for our furry friends, perfect for hot days when they can run around and chase tails with new friends, and cool down with a little doggy paddle.
