Thousands upon thousands of people were treated to a fantastic event in Cleethorpes last weekend, thanks to the third annual Cleethorpes Airshow.
The RAF Red Devils Parachute Regiment, historic wartime air crafts, Typhoon fighter jet and Lincolnshire’s own incredible RAF Red Arrows were just some of the highlights of the two-day event. It also featured an abundance local food suppliers, including Select Lincolnshire, numerous trade stands and fairground rides lining the promenade, and it was completely free to attend!
The Grimsby Telegraph has reported that over 200,000 people attended the air show during the sizzling weather, and that planning for next year’s extravaganza is already underway – keep the dates free in next year’s diary!
P.S. Following the air show on Sunday, BBC 2 aired a documentary all about the Red Arrows – watch Red Arrows: Inside the Bubble right here!
